The current issue of Art New England has reviewed A Life of Looking.

I have a two person exhibition opening in April at Community College of Rhode Island Knight Campus in Warwick, just outside of Providence. Fred Dalkey, the other artist exhibiting, is an amazing draughstman, close friend, and former professor of mine. 
I have the honor of teaching a two week intensive workshop in Civita Castellana, Italy as an affiliate faculty member for the Jerusalem Studio School. The workshop, From Sight to Vision-Translating Perception into Paint, will run from July 8th to the 22nd. More info on the program may be found here. I'd love for you to be a part of the program. This is in an area of Italy, just north of Rome where Corot painted, and the landscape possibilities are endless. In addition to the daily painting, there will be weekly excursions throughout Italy to see art. 
On November 10th, I will be a panelist at Lyme Academy College of Art in a discussion on ways of making it in the art world today.

The Hand that Finds, the Hand that Feeds, the Hand that Fails is an exhibition of my sketchbook drawings currently up at the Roger W. Rogers Gallery at Willamette University. The show runs till December, 2012. Essay viewable HERE.

I am the 2012 Goodman Banks Artist in Residence at Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford. I have a solo show, "Irretrievable States" up in their gallery till the end of February. I gave a talk on my work to the school of 600 on Feb 3rd.
I have recently been nominated by the American Academy of Arts and Letters to be one of a number of other nominees possible to receive an art award and be part of an exhibition in NYC.

I have a show of work up at Mercy College in New York for the Spring semester. The gallery is on the Dobbs Ferry campus, by the library.

I have work up at the Windsor Art Center from September 25th to November 6th. I will be giving a lecture and tour on my work on Saturday, October 9th, at 1:30pm. Directions

The Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism awarded a $2,500 Grant for my work in painting. The university printed a small blurb about it below.

In April, West Cove Studios hosted a drawing exhibition, Line Dancing, curated by Stephen Kobasa. This was the drawing of mine chosen for the show. Read review here.

The Spring/Summer issue of Green Mountains review is out with the painting "I Fought the Law" on the cover. The issue is titled the "shame and glory" issue.
